Treat the family to a memorable Easter by taking part in the age-old Easter egg hunt tradition. If you don’t fancy setting up your own, take the kids along to one of the many organised egg hunts taking place across the UK. Here are a few of our favourites…

Little ones become intrepid eggsplorers for the day at these fun-packed events. Help them follow the clues and complete the challenges to lead them to a lovely prize. Fun activities such as face painting, sack races and giant Snakes and Ladders will add to the magic too.

For guaranteed chocolatey fun this Easter, visit Cadbury World. There’s an Easter egg trail taking place as well as an Easter bonnet competition, plus you’ll get the chance to discover everything about the gooey brown stuff and see it being made.

Easter Egg Hunt at Highclere Castle

Head to the beautiful Highclere Castle – home of Downton Abbey! – for a tip-top family day out. Take your Easter bonnets along for the parade and follow the trail around the grounds before collecting a chocolate egg when you reach the end. And there’s lots more fun for everyone, with face painting, farm animals, a bouncy castle and a special appearance from Peppa Pig.

Easter Egg Hunt at Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is always a magical place to take the little ones, and it’ll be even more fun this Easter with a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Easter Weekend at Blenheim Palace

If your little one adores Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam, head to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for a fantastic family weekend featuring characters from the shows.
